Pilates-trained physiotherapists help you gain greater control over your spinal issues and injury rehabilitation journey. Through Pilates at the Wellness Hub you gain a greater awareness and understanding of normal painfree movement, improve your postural awareness and develop your overall fitness
The aim of Clinical Pilates is to assess the movement and control of your body through your back, neck and pelvic region. It then uses specific exercises to help correct the problem areas.
The focus is on teaching the brain to recruit the correct muscle groups to find the correct pattern of movement and on the strength and length of muscles and joints.
Here at The Wellness Hub, we have Pilates-trained Physiotherapists ready to assist you with finding greater control over your problem areas. Our small tailor-made classes pinpoint the weak areas of the body and relevant exercises are taught to create a more balanced and injury- free body. Unlike other forms of Pilates, we do not just deliver a series of exercises that you blindly follow. We will educate you on why a particular exercise is relevant for your needs.
If you join us in our studio, you receive a more personalised 1-2-1 approach with a maximum of 4 people in a class. You can also join us online if that’s more convenient and you already have experience in Pilates.
To get the most out of the work you are doing in classes we ask that you book a 1-2-1 appointment with one of our Pilates-trained Physiotherapists before your first class so you can hit the ground running and maximise the benefit of your Pilates sessions.
